If "plot movement" is all that constitutes good filmmaking to you... sad, very sad. Not to mention, there is PLENTY of "plot movement" to BABE: PIG IN THE CITY, not to mention some wonderful moments of pathos and metaphor. If you didn't get that, it's a comment on yourself as a filmgoer expecting everything to be explained outright to you and not a comment on the "sad" filmmakers who made BABE: PIG IN THE CITY. Quite frankly, I'm amazed any serious filmgoer could dislike B:PITC- the only folks I could imagine disliking it would be investors and shareholders at Universal, since the film was a financial flop thanks largely to it's dark, dark tone.
