"TAoMT" = "The Adventures of Mark Twain"
Smalls has posted about this flick before and it made me realize that this underappreciated claymation masterpiece does indeed have its fans. Hell, the "Adam & Eve" sequences alone probably have their own cult!
I'm not sure what Kevin has in mind for his "adult" future, but an intriguining side project (a la the now-defunct NJ movie theatre) might be to produce remasters for long-since forgotten gems, Rolling Thunder-style (I implicate the term "gems" loosely there).
After all, while even long-forgotten '80s footnotes like "The Stuff" can find its way to DvD, who's to say whether or not the same kinda justice will ever be done to "The Adventures of Mark Twain?"
Anyone else at ViewAskew ever dream of laying their hands on film elements of someone else's work in a film-lab setting?
