Jason was became a pro skater when he was 16 and got fed up by the age of like 23 or something, he was friends with Giovani Rabisi's mom because he was dating his sister. Rabisi's mom (who's name escapes me) became his agent and got him some auditions for commericials and shit, Jason just wanted to do movies. Mallrats was the first movie he ever auditioned for (for a an actual part, Mid Vida Loca doesnt count) and he was lucky enough to get the part, the rest is history.
