: Okay, Got to meet you at Vulgarthon 2000, still think your the coolest guy tied with Bryan Lynch and maybe Bryan Johnson. But enough ass kissing.
: 1. What did you film A Better Place with? Camera, Film stock?
Arri SR1 in standard 16mm, using 7245 stock for most daytime exteriors, 7293 for all interiors and a few daytime exterior shots when we were losing light, and 7298 for I think a grand total of three or four shots at the end of the "Whipporwill murder" scene when we were severely losing light.
: 2. What was your budget and what was your biggest expense? (UI remember you saying it was 40,000?)
Most money was spent in post-production- things like the original sound mix, the negative cut, the answer prints, etc. It cost us about $28,000 to actually shoot the movie, the rest was spent after the fact in post.
: 3. Does it hurt to kick so much ass?
Nope.

: A Better Place remains one of the most truely deep, moving, and heaviest films I've ever seen, I'll be really happy when I have in my hand on DVD, I'm sure you will too.
: Thanks,
: Rich Beischer
