But I love the movie. Not as funny as Clerks or as good as Chasing Amy, but defiently better than Mallrats. Theres one line by Bartleby that irks me when I hear it, but otherwise, I think a lot of the stuff is great (Rufus' stuff about "ideas", etc)
Damn, I need that DVD to come out.
But its defiently better than Mallrats. I have mallrats on DVD and I never watch it. Why? Flat characters, uninspired plot, bad cameo by Stan Lee, everyone in the movie is boring as hell except Brodie and J&SB (and maybe Willam). I could go on and on. So I will. Idiotic slapstick, gratuitous nudity, all-too-perfect wrap up, Affleck's character sucks and he isn't in it enough, Joey Adams isn't in it enough, the studio wrecked Kev's origanol beggining, the "cum laude" joke, etc.
Oh well, I'm sure J&SBSB will be better.

: I totally agree with you there. In fact, Dogma is my least favourite VA film because I simply find it too religious.
