I know Criterion owns the commentary tracks for Spinal Tap. That's why there is a new one on the new version of the DVD for that movie (Funny one too but not as good as the original Criterion Collection commentary by the "band" but you have to shell out some $$ to get it)
So it's possible that VA doesn't completly own the rights to it. Vincent might know.
: Is the actual material (the actual words spoken) owned by anyone other than ViewAskew (ie. do they belong to Columbia/Tri-Star)?
: I only ask as I've been wondering if there's any way that the ommitted portions of the commentary track could or would ever be transcribed here, on the site.
