I've also heard that people want a Clerks in color, since this won't happen (nor would we want a colorization) it would have been cool to have Clerks 2 in color. : The great thing about the four movies we've got so far is that they are all the same but different. They're all interconnected but Kevin's never made the same movie twice. People take different things away from Mallrats than they do from Chasing Amy but that doesn't make Mallrats a worse film in my opinion. And Dogma is my personal favourite of the movies so far. : : So why is JASBSB the last film? : Would you rather Jay and Silent Bob kept making appearances until the idea's been totally run into the ground? The TV shows and movies that stand the test of time are nearly always the ones where the creative team was brave enough to let them go while they are at their peak rather than let them slide a bit and cancel them when people aren't that interested any more. : : And why is Clerks 2 now abandoned? : Like I said, I think elements of Clerks 2 have been recycled into JASBSB, but the scope of the movie has got a bit larger. : : And if JASBSB is the last film, shouldn't kev make a true final, a jedi?
