You most likely should have gotten a pass to come back and see the movie again because of the interruption. Which means the second time you saw the movie, (and a lousy copy of it) was basically the equivalant of using the pass. Oh, and if you didn't get a pass to return again when everything was fixed, then you, in fact, are the one that got ripped off. Dude, always demand a free pass if the movie fucks up. You paid 8 bucks or whatever it is there to watch a complete movie. If said complete movie is not supplied by the film house then you are entittled to view the flick in it's entirety(sp?) at a later time at no additional charge to you.
When I saw Hannibal the sound cut out when Mason Verger (hideoulsly deformed guy) told his back story. They shut the movie off, started it up at the next reel and we got to watch the end of it. After the movie I went out and told the manager I was very unhappy about the intterruption and was given a free pass as well as everyone that was with me. A group of people followed closely behind me.
Besides, you lost out more by having to watch a shitty copy of the flick. Move on. No one cares.
