Poor Cap-Alert, let me say I am a born-again Christian and I can see how some Die Hard Fundy's (like CapAlert) would not like Dogma, but that's fine, because Die Hard Fundy's should know better than to watch any hollywood film that has a higher rating than PG.

Dogma explores all tenets of the faith and also the character's situation is often how we Christians can feel at times, example Rufus forsaking sex for the 'pristhood' is a main concern of some yound men wishing to be Priests but not wanting to forsake the love of a woman.

I like Dogma, bottomline, and see it as a faith-building film for than a faith-destroying film.

As Kevin Smith said "I wanted to make a movie that celebrated my faith", and Dogma celebrates it comically, which is what we have come to know, expect, and love from Kevin after he got us hooked with Clerks.
