I totally dug the show. Was so excited for it when iI heard about it the first time. Watch the bowl ad, then watched the show that summer. I even took off that night as my regular night off for the show.
The thing with Mallrats being better? I think it might be hard to put them anywhere in the same catagory, because it was a totally different deal. Animated TV into a movie for major release.
Now, after seeing the DVD...i must admit, episode six is hard for me to watch as well, for I don't want it to be over.
Brad: If anyone doesn't like it, that's their problem.
:
: : : I, too, didn't think much of the episodes. I've seen all six, and thought
: : : they were okay, but nothing great. I still plan on getting the DVD to
: : : check out the commentaries and extra material. Then again, I'm probably
: : : not a good example considering how many DVD's I've bought on a complete
: whim.
: : : And I have to disagree with Piscez. I thought Mallrats was far, far better
: : : than the animated series.
: : :
: : : : I can't say I cared all too much for the two episodes of TCS that aired
: : : last year, but I've heard nothing but great things about the Uncensored
: DVD....
: : : : I'm conflicted. Are the other episodes and supplimental material better
: : : than what aired? Or am I a hopeless cause?
