Damn but if this isn't off topic. Anyway, I don't know where you got any of this shit, but the only mention of Obi-Wan and Yoda's relationship comes in the latest young reader books showing Obi-Wan when he was 13 years old. They explain that Yoda is one of the instructors at the Jedi Temple, so therefore, even though Qui-Gon was Obi-Wan's master, Yoda still assisted in his training.

Damn

: Obi Wan was initially trained by Qui Gon but when Qui Gon died they decided that Obi Wan was beyond the apprentice phase. You will see the continuation of this in the next movie. While Obi Wan will take on his own apprentice, he is still young in the force and will need alot of direction. This is where Yoda steps in. He takes over, in a way, the advanced training that Qui Gon left off at. He is also a confidant for Obi.

: that is assuming that the second movie doesnt skip straight to the Clone Wars....then you will never see this aspect of the relationship. They will just be friends at that point. But if you read the books (which Lucas has already decided not to stick to entirely) then you learn about Yoda training Obi to a certain extent. He then evolves into a mentor for Obi and the person he comes to for advice when he senses that Anakin is beginning to be tempted by the Dark Side.

: That is the story according to the Lucas Blessed novels.
