Mr. Smith: I recently saw the Clerks cartoon DVD and I'm disappointed that ABC aired it for only two eps and not UPN for the guaranteed sixteen. I really enjoyed it and thought I could see where it was going considering my limited imagination. The Charles Barkley appearances were hysterical and Alec Baldwin was perfect. I just had to comment on a casual remark you made about the age group that would get it or enjoy it or whatever. I'm a fan although I'm a 51 year old female with children. I thought Chasing Amy was the best movie I saw that year, and it certainly wasn't the first film of yours I had seen. From Clerks to Dogma (and I was raised in a very religeous home)I saw them all, after I had seen Clerks, as soon as they were released. The only one I'm really not crazy about is Mallrats (sorry) but I say "Fuck 'em if they can't take a joke" and I guess that applies to me as well regarding Mallrats. So, although I'm sure you hear this ad nauseum, I'm a huge fan, love your movies and can't wait for the next one.
