Not comedy wise. Humor wise.
South Park's episodes are funny like one out of every three or four times. But when they're funny, they're really fucking funny.
Family Guy is like this, only joke wise. One in every 8 or 9 jokes they do are funny, but it's a really funny joke.
My favorite was when Peter said he used to be a sneeze guard at a buffet restaurant and the flashback cut to a guy about to sneeze at a buffet and Peter whipped out a gun, put it to him, and said "think about. Go ahead."
