Me and Peckinpah and Kubrick are up in the Great Beyond doin' lines off the taut tummies of spectral Capone hookers (Heaven is what you make it) and checkin' out the Film Scene (we get copies of movies eons before y'all do down there) and all we gotta say is this "Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back" thing is gonna be bigger than Capra ever was. Even he said so. Said he wished he could go down, slip into Vincent Gallo's body and go toe to toe with Smith on film, said he could've made the biggest indie of all time if only the studios had let him and there hadn't been that war. I believe him. Sure. I also believe Bruckheimer is anything without me. Of "J&SBSB" Roger Ebert will opine, and I quote, "I hugged myself all the way through, then pinched my companion on the ass and said, 'Holy Christ, Kevin Smith is the Second Coming." Entertainment Weekly, that scandal sheet, will retract its estimation that Smithmania is on the decline except with junior high kids.
So take it from three of the best: You will not be disappointed.
And Lynch! Lynch, where ya at, man? You gotta come up sometime for Nickel Beer Tuesdays.
