i read somewhere that he wrote dogma right around when clerks came out but he thought that if it was made back then it wouldn't have been as good (i actually think i read that in the dogma dvd paper thingy) and he put that they would be back in dogma because he thought that would be his next movie until he realized it wouldn't work out like i said above
