Great flick - I highly recommend it. That's not why I'm posting about it though, I'm posting because of Mr. Lee. I'm not the kind to show up on the board and start kissing people's asses, but I was really impressed with his performance.
I've only seen Jason in Kevin's movies and Almost Famous, so for the most part I've seen what was pretty close to the same character several times over. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE what he's done in Kevin's movies, but I didn't really know if he could go beyond that. I didn't know if he could play any other part than the wisecracking sidekick, or the wisecracking demon, or the wisecracking disgruntled band member. I was wrong. Jason plays a totally different character, holds his own with some REALLY big names, and adds a lot to the movie. It's awesome to see him really step up as the romantic lead. Jason, if you read this pal, I just want to tell you that your stock just went up in my book bigtime. I don't know if that matters to you, but as a fellow thespian, I know it is never a bad thing to hear. Great job.
