I wrote the script. Deforrest Kelley (who's birthday is 1/20/20, same day and month as mine!) visited me in a dream, and told me to write something about "shifts and numbers". Obviously, this was a reference to my keyboard (I have Star Trek stickers on it too!), and what would Brian be fighting besides an asterick? I wrote a role for Tank from the Matrix too. He sounds like someone I could relate to (maybe a soulmate???).
