If Kev only did Jay and Silent Bob stuff he will be limiting himself creativily and that would just be playing it safe. Eventually all the askewers would get bored and the whole series could get tarnished (for example Scream movies...one was enough, maybe two*). So as Michael Jordin did retire at the top... and maybe in a couple of years come back and win a couple of championships and retire for good as the legend. Will anyone forget Jaws? Kevin Smith has a long career to ahead of him and Jay and Silent Bob will always be remembered and thanked for being there at the beginning.
