Actually about nine hours long (Full length Commentaries and Animatics) minus the fact that there are no commercial breaks so really about 7-7½ hours of material.
Seriously it's about a few different things, but it's very funny. It's not exactly like the movie but even if they made a second movie it wouldn't be the same thing.
At least rent it and try it out. if you like any other Kevin Smith movies or comics aside from the original clerks you'll like the animated series...
