There are actually lots of good film schools around the United States and I'm sure around North America and probably worldwide. My advice (even though I'm not Kevin) would be to shop around for a school that best fits your needs. In addition to that, check out the site I'm linking below. I think you'll find a lot of interesting information there. There's a student film festival coming up later this month and it's an amazing place to get a lot of the info you sound interested in obtaining. I don't know your location, but the film festival is in Indianapolis.
