Hughes didn't direct it. Hughes stopped directing in 1986, with Pretty in Pink. Howard Deutch (sp?) directed that and Some Kind of Wonderful, and Chris Columbus directed Home Alone. Hughes is set to return to directing, but it's going to fucking suck, so who cares?
I like Home Alone, personally, but whatever.
