It wouldn't be stretching far to say that the execs at Disney might lack the imagination and intelligence to make the connection between Mooby and Mickey, but somebody had to notice. However, they were expecting to rake in a big pile of cash on this flick, so who the hell cares about a few in-jokes? It's the same as "Simpsons" getting away with dissing FOX all these years...humor is less important than profit to the corporation.
