I can't imagine. Will he be stuck doing cameos in stoner-friendly, Smith-imitation flicks for the next forty years? Will he break out in a role much different than Jay, in a film much different from Kevin's? Or will he just sit back getting fat off the residuals of the Jersey years?
I have horrible visions of sweet Mewes coaxed into the world of glam show biz, trading toneless howls on-stage with Kid Rock in Las Vegas, traveling in a comedy showcase with Pauly Shore, backstage surrounded by dirty peroxide floss-bikinied hookers, retching in the parking lot at 3:34 a.m., bloated up to 200 pounds in a purple velvet rhinestone cape floating in the pool at the Playboy Mansion, stuffing canapes into his tooth-rotting mouth while tourists gawk and take pictures for the kids back home.
Not a bad fate, what?

: Everyone loved the first "Planes, Trains and Automobiles" - there could easily be a second feature starring Jay and David Spade. Maybe it's a silly idea, but I see it working and I see the two of them making a perfect comedy team.
