That was one of the wierder turns that I recall in the era of when I used to watch music videos. It wasn't like they were dating, or anything, and there was an undue amount of production value to the video itself...
Johnny Depp appeared in a Tom Petty video, but that somehow seemed appropriate. Keanu "rush rushing" into Paula Abdul's bedroom, with the diaphonous curtains and candles and stuff was just plain odd.
Speaking of Paula Abdul's videos, (and steering this puppy on-topic sos to be Smalls-friendly), Chris Baily, the lead designer and animator for the CLERKS toon also designed and led the project for Paula Abdul's animated video partner, DJ SKAT KAT, in the unforgettable "Opposites Attract."
You see? It all fits together. One unified puzzle. There are so many signs and predictions- get 3Eves on the phone, tell her I'm sorry, and she's right. But I'm still stealing her script.
It's an awful quirk of memory that I cannot rattle off the quadratic formula at the drop of a hat, but can recite the whole DJ SKAT ..um.. "rap".. on command.
