We can admit that its a fun movie to watch. Brendan Fraser is a charasmatic and talented actor, Rachael Weisz is gorgeous and the wife of Sam Mendes (so she's got good taste) and Oded Fehr is pretty damn good as the strong-silent type. Sure, the CGI is weak in places (one big WWF-sized f-up there...) and that wrestling moron is a pointless character who will star in a terrible prequel. But overall, its fun stuff. It's not going to win any oscars, but will Nightcrawlers? Doubtful.. but from what I hear, it will be a fun movie that any Goonies/Monster Squad/Hackers fan will want to see.
Mummy Returns and Nightcrawlers are brothers under the skin. Let's be uniters, not dividers.

: That's just amazing. What's even more insane is that it wasn't even last night's top film. I guess great word of mouth has really helped Stallone's new opus, DRIVEN, because it inched out MUMMY RETURNS for the top spot. All in all, a good day for Hollywood and for quality.
