: I just saw this genius review that was recently posted for A Better Place at Amazon:
: "Moralistic U.S. government/department of education propaganda slickly marketed to the teenage market as an oh so hip "indie" feature. Probably ghost written by Orin Hatch."
: Yeah. Mm-hmmm. I couldn't agree more with this anonymous reviewer. I mean, A Better Place is just the sort of thing the American government prides itself in feeding today's youth in order to brainwash them. I mean, it's just like every high school movie I've ever seen that's done massive business - kid goes to new scool, doesn't quite fit in, meets kooky, trendy, kid who understands him but is also popular with the 'in' crowd and is given a bug make-over and becomes prom king and lives a happy, popular life!
: And that slick marketing, too! I mean, there's not a teenager in the Western world who hasn't seen this film at least 15 times and learnt from it. Schools across the nation are just teeming with wise, compassionate kids these days thanks to this film and its history-making marketing.
: I also love the way they've put the word 'indie' in inverted commas. 'Cause it's not often you see indie films made for as much as $50,000, is it?

Damn funny! Those teen movies blow. They should show ABP in schools and stuff.
side note: I just saw a video, 'Totally Bill Hicks'. Although i barely remembered him saying Goatboy and thinking of you, this had his whole Goatboy thing and it was damn funny! brilliant homage!
