For one thing, he's a Canuck. From where exactly, I'm not sure, but he says the Leafs rock, so I'm guessing GTA.
That and he made Tail Lights Fade, which despite certain people not liking it, I found it very enjoyable.
Hey Malcolm, how did you go about getting grants and stuff from the Film Board to make it? After all, it's main stars were American, and I hear it's tougher to get funding the less truly "Canadian" it gets.
