...it doesn't even warrant a comment by me...and did I mention liking Lifehouse? I vaguely remember hearing a song by them, and I wouldn't consider that grunge.
But, to me, that's the whole appeal of grunge. No one likes it anymore. That's why I like it. It wasn't even that big to begin with, except in like 1992, but now it's non-existent, as rap-metal has taken it's stance on teen society...and it sucks, it really, really sucks. If grunge made a comeback, I'd be happier than a pig in shit...I'd dust my flannel and ripped jeans off, and grow my hair long again. But, as long as rap and new-age hip-hop metal holds this country by the nuts, that ain't gonna happen.
The only thing I bands I like these days that are still around are TOOL, Deftones, Stone Temple Pilots, A Perfect Circle, Godsmack, and Incubus(but now they're starting to be on MTV, which fuckin sucks)
And of course, I like my old, early 90s shit, Nirvana, AIC, PJ, Soundgarden, what have you. Pre-Load Metallica, too.
I only hope this new band with Chris Cornell and Rage Against the Machine can bring a much needed salvation from this perpetual music hell.
