: Hello Jim Shady
Hello Spunky!
: U seem to not understand that not every one has come accross the delights of the viewaskew universe as quickly as you. The tone in the posting leads me to come to a very superficial conclusion that u are a film snob. If that is so then u are a dick, as i'm sure Mr Smith would agree that his films are about conveying messages and enjoying stories which he wants as many people to take in and disseminate.
Please don't get me wrong at all - I take great pleasure in the fact that more and more people are discovering Kevin's films and enjoying them. The only reason I posted what I did was that when Dogma was released here on video, there were a lot of posts from brand new British fans asking about Clerks 2. There are several regular questions asked on the Board which are guaranteed to provoke ire, and that is the main one. Kudos to you for not asking that.
However, quite a few new Brit posters have been asking for the UK release date (you only have to look at the post immediately above you). As I'm sure you can appreciate, this question has been appearing on every Board recently, and it does get a bit frustrating when people keep asking the same thing over and over again. No reason why you'd know this especially if you've just found the Board, but it's a good idea to lurk on it for a few days, look at the questions and answers that are coming up regularly, and above all to read the Summaries. If you are a new Kevin Smith fan, they have bogloads of information about Kevin and his films, and are also designed to provide answers for regularly asked questions, such as the one about Clerks 2. The UK release date isn't in them, but they're good for lots of other stuff. Rest assured that when the release date is announced, it will be trumpeted from the rooftops!
: So what if i or anybody else had only recently bought a copy of Dogma in the HMV sale. I would take much pleasure that someone else has the same messed up sense of humour and film taste as myself especially when Dogma is the least easier of the 4 films to watch.
Can I just say (while rolling around on the floor with glee) that I had no idea there was a sale on at HMV. I only meant my comment as a bit of gentle piss-taking, and the fact that I was absolutely spot on has pleased me no end!
I'm glad you found the vids and wish you many happy hours of viewing pleasure. They're superb films which stand up to a lot of repeat viewing. I found Amy the hardest to watch myself, and Mallrats is still my favourite one. There are many people here who agree with me, and many who don't (damn them!).
: If this is not the case and u really r not a film snob then i apoligise hole heartedly for such an attack on your character.
Believe me, compared to some of the attacks that people receive on their characters here, it was completely inoffensive. I really hope after reading the above that you lose any offense you might have taken from me.
