You are quite right my friend. I am also middle class to poor and the price of even a low budget amazes me. I also agree that the quality of movies are become quite lowered, but the thing is that we have people like lucas and kevin who are still producing the top quality films of this generation.
Like you, I also have the magic feeling that someday i will be making the movies that really question life and make people think, because today i can see that nearly all of sociaty is in a state of pre-occupation, where they go to work, eat, sleep and have stopped questioning life and why we are here. I know all this sounds a bit much, but i am only putting in my two cents worth.
one thing that i hope that kevin dosen't do is fall in the trap that hollywood sets for great directors. MONEY!! i hope he keeps his heart in place and his path true.

ps : I still think that Ben Affleck and the other one(Matt Damon.lol) have alot of talent, obiviously kevin has an eye for talent or else he wouldn't re-use them in most of his films.
