This is in reference to the film, not the cartoon, so this is an old question.
Why doesn't Clerks have an animorphic widescreen mode? I always assumed it was because Buena Vista (aka Disney) was just too lazy to impliment one. I've read somewhere, though, that says because Clerks was (obviously) not filmed with an animorphic lens, then it couldn't be animorphically compressed for DVD.
Now, I'm sure that would mean that Clerks had no REAL animorphic mode, but I don't see why it couldn't be compressed anyway. Most people don't buy animorphic DVDs mainly because they have better resolution... It's because they want to watch it on their widescreen TV without 4 borders surrounding it!
Any answers? Or are you all still oogling the teaser trailer? :)
