Well teaser is definitely an accurate description of this thing... a minute 22 seconds and I counted 42 different clips. And this may just be coincidence (or even miscounting on my part) but I got the Clerks clip (Dante and Randal) as #37... That would be amazing attention to detail if they did that on purpose. So, my thoughts/observations on it:
In the first shot with Ferrel, the board says "Know your Drugs" - reminds me of an onion article from a few weeks ago about a guy who tried to use hip slang when talking to his kids about drugs... Those who read theonion.com know what I'm talking about. Those who don't read, should.
In the 3rd scene, what's up with the little kid? Looks like Jay & Bob are trying to wring something out of him.
A little later, we see Van Der Beek and Biggs as Bluntman and Chronic... looks great.
Then, what's with the blue screen behind Jon Stewart? Is that a missing digital effect or something?
As for the "Affleck you da bomb in phantoms Yo!" scene, I'm thinkin' that's where Damon and Affleck play their Good Will Hunting characters. I popped in that movie, and that scene does look kinda similar, plus the waitresses were wearing red shirts, just like the one in that clip where the guy goes flying back (and you can see a string pulling him by the way). What does everybody else think about that?
And finally, who's that guy next to Rock in the last clip? He looks like the Steven Wright - the "Guy on the couch" from Half Baked.
