on Wednesday (?) i did that and it worked. i did it to try to avoid my computer crashing as it can do when playing Quicktimes through IE. heh.
But, yeah, try that. As far as i know, all Real movies stream so you can't save them, but some Quicktime stuff is saveable - like the .movs the trailer in question is available as, so that is good. if you clicked on the thing and it appears in yr browser (so you can watch some of it as the rest downloads), you can still save a copy of the file when it's finished downloading fully by looking in the 'Temporary Internet Files' folder and copying the .mov to another directory.
i don't know all the ins and outs of this internetty stuff, but i think what i've written there above is pretty much true. :)
