How they can intelligently...um wait does that word apply here? Trying again...how they can accurately determine viewer voting on a production that wasn't released publicly thru either theatres and/or video?

And is it really necessary to take those precautions in an effort to prevent "ballot stuffing"? How many movies have we seen that received valid rave reviews and sucked...plenty! It's all subjective in the end.
And note the biasness in the disclaimers note towards positive dishonest reviews...they don't mention how they're are using the system to protect the creators of a movie from vengeful dishonest reviews. Where's the faith?
: Amazon.com bought out IMDB a few years back. Pissed me off too. I HATE Amazon...then again I worked in my mother's bookstore for the 17 years it's been open, so I might be a little biased.
Yeah, big business tends to suck in my opinion. I tend to be more biased towards independant and small business/creations.
