okay you cant make a film with a hi-8 video camera and a personal stereo you need post/pre/*whatever* production which generally means at the very least you need the following
Mixing desk, Dual tape recorders, passive and aggresive editing tools and a decent camera.
and as far as getting companyie to watch your movie the more you can do to impress them the better
IE
send them the package in a big box with a naked lady that pops out and gives the receptionist a second package. This second package would contain instructions on how to find said movie tape. IF you hand in your film on a movie tape or CD or DVD then you'll be just like the rest of the wannabies..... you need an edge to elevate you above that
