English is derived mainly from Germanic, Latin, and a few other ancient languages. If you want to get all high-and-mighty about changing the language, look at your country. UK English took several ancient languages and made their own language. Then, when the US escaped your evil tyranny, we decided to make our own language, but instead of creating a new language, we altered the one we already spoke and over time changed it more and more until it has become a different language. Sure, you can understand us and we can understand you, for the most part, but certain words and phrases mean completely different things in our respective nations. You're such an ass.
