Thanks -- I'm familliar with what an Avid system is, I just wasn't sure how close it was to FCP or Premiere -- thanks for the insight! I took the plunge and bought a Canon MiniDV camera about a year ago and I haven't looked back! Made the evolutionary progress -- iMovie, Premiere, and now Final Cut Pro -- by teaching myself. It's been A LOT of fun, and a real challenge! Working on the begining stages of a full-length documentary.

It's been REAL inspiration and motivational following Kevin, Vincent, and Crew Askew through all of their projects...
