Excatly, the character is so "stupid" that you just wanna slap him in the face ! I know that was kind of the essence of the flick, but that really annoyed me. The comic book part was quite well handled though, and good directing. I thought it was really close to the one of comics, and the style, sets and all, very similar too. I probably know more about movies than about comics, but I thought it was ok.
Cinematographicaly speaking, that wasn't a masterpiece (too much of a sort of a copycat of Sixth Sense, which was better handled, I think), but it definitly worths seeing for the comic book part, and the analysis of it.
