According to the Mallrats DVD commentary (I think) the jacket was just a plain green 'bomber' jacket which then had the Degrassi lettering stitched onto it by one of the crew...much to Ms Docherty's dismay as she was allowed to keep her wardrobe in the film. I presume she wasn't to thrilled about having a Degrassi jacket.
