Hey... doesn't it suck when someone, who obviously has God-awful taste in movies, makes uninformed, malicious, and undeserved comments in regard to a film that you have put so much effort into? How dare these people voice their oppinions on another person's work? These crazy people... with their bloated sense of self importance.... WELL FUCK THAT! We gotta put a stop to these fuckin' hateful sons-of-bitches, before they ruin our good names! The great Kevin Smith is right, we should follow his great example and keep our fucking mouths shut when we have no idea what we're talking about! Perhaps some of you may have noticed a slight trace of sarcasm hidden in my post. All I have to say is say what you want about someone elses movie, but don't fucking cry about it when someone else says bad things about your own movie. Don't get me wrong... I am a huge Kevin Smith fan. Chasing Amy is one of the greatest movies I have ever seen in my life. What Kevin lacks in his directing talents he more than makes up for in his amazing writing skills. However... dare I say it... Magnolia is one of my favorite movies of all time. Paul Thomas Anderson is my favorite director. I have obviously connected with this movie in a way that Mr. Smith obviously could not (Much in the same way that I have never met another living being who even remotely enjoyed Wes Anderson's Rushmore). Say what you will about this movie, it's certainly your right as a film viewer. However it seems kind of childish to me to react to others bashing your film by sending your site-readers to combat other people's opinions. As a movie fan I believe that if a person can voice his/her own opinions on movies, then he/she should also be mature enough to respect the opinions of others; Kevin Smith I hope you're listening....
