vinnie does it again!
I will try and stay on the subject and not start mud slinging
(I'M a 'tool'? indeed! ever heard the phrase "the pot calling...nevermind)
my comment was actually directed to Kevin Smith, not you or any of the fan-boys on this board. on the new dogma dvd, kevin makes (I believe)
more than one snide comment about p.t.anderson (something about streamlining his story telling) THATS why I said 'say what you want about pta'
:Did you really think that we personally authored and mastered the DVDs here in Red Bank, you tool?
bahahahahahaha! did I even come CLOSE to saying that? seriously, where did that come from? hahahaha, what a marooooon.
: And P.T. Adnerson has yet to make a movie that inspires the kind of controversy that DOGMA did.
hmmmm, youre right, a movie about the porn industry is pretty safe ground.
maybe its not a religious theme (we all know anytime religion enters into the picture all hell breaks loose...no pun intended) but surely youre not going to say its not controversial.
I'm being forced to defend p.t.anderson, and I'm not even a big fan of his.
KEVIN, himself, is the one who ragged on pta, I just thought it was a unfair comment. sour grapes maybe?
I remember after Mallrats came out, Kevin said he would never make a movie for a studio again...if he cant say what he wants, when he wants....
whats the difference?
: - they're talking about, but-
: : I dont recall any of his commentary getting beeped.
: : how can the king of the independents (KS) get so muffled by lawyers and
: : business men/women? I, for one, am very sad.
: KEVIN didn't "get muffled by the lawyers"- Columbia Tri-Star Home Video did. Did you really think that we personally authored and mastered the DVDs here in Red Bank, you tool?
: And P.T. Adnerson has yet to make a movie that inspires the kind of controversy that DOGMA did.
