Maybe now everyone will calm down.Until the next gift from Kev and the guys is announced(Dogma Documentary?) and every "fan" can proceed to shit all over again. "Where is it?", "He owes us", "They do it on purpose".
Watching the whining this past week and more has been just too fucking weird. There are a lot,and I mean alot of true VA fans here, and I appreciate posting and talking to these people, but the few who want everything now, now, now! and it's Kevin's fault we don't have it right away make everyone look bad.
I said this once before on a post to Vincent, when someone was giving him shit about ABP being delayed.I have a brain tumor that requires a MRI every 6 months, diabetes, degenerative disc disease that is eating my spine literally, throat surgery just 3 weeks ago to remove my uvula in the back of my throat, one back surgery for a ruptured disc 2 years ago and another coming up in the next month for another ruptured disc.I have had no job for the last 3 years due to these problems.I will be laid up for about 6 months to a year.I am on heavy medication just to make it through the day in some sort of a semblance of a life. All at 27 years old.A 27 year old man who has to have his parents support him because he cannot work.Hell,it hurts just to go out to try to do normal things like see a movie, eat out, etc.Am I pissed that because life has hard on me?Damn right.Am I upset that I will have no chance to see Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back until it is released on DVD.Yes.But you know what, that is LIFE.It is not Kevin's fault,or Vincent,Brian,Bryan,Ming,or anyone on this board, not just the Reds.I appreciate that tomorrow I will wake up.Period.
I think everyone should just be glad that we all enjoy the work Kevin puts out.It is what has made this board, his movies, and all the other things bring us together.I just people would calm down, take it easy and appreciate what we have here.We could very well have nothing. No board. No internet trailers made just for us.No DVD's that are tops in their field just to make us happy.
Anyway,what do I know.That's just my 2 cents.
