Even though it's Kevin's movie, the Stash doens't do super high-volume sales on DVDs, so they can only buy maybe a couple hundred at a time. Columbia Tri-Star doesn't give a shit that it's Kevin's movie and he owns the Stash, they *ARE NOT* interested in directly selling the title to you unless you're prepared to buy several thousand units up front. The Stash simply can't afford that and they don't do that much sales, so Bryan Johnson is forced to buy the DVD from secondary distributors at a higher price than Tri-Star will sell to say Amazon for. Amazon can offer it at a discount because they're gonna be buying like 15,000 units and Columbia Tri-Star will give them a phat discount. We can handle a few hundred here so we get no such deal, so we have to sell the DVDs at the suggested retail price to make any sort of a profit.
If you just want the DVD, buy it from Amazon. If you want it autographed, buy it from the Stash. I think the fact that Stash copies are autographed by Kevin more than makes up for having to pay full-retail price.
And as for RCE, that's not up to us either, it's up to the studio releasing the DVD. Regardless, according to NewsAskew the DVD *DOES NOT* have RCE.
