First, while riding a Baht Bus (Cab/Taxi thing) I saw an ad for the "Nong Nooch Tropical Resort" Sounds like a nice place.
Then, while sitting in my ASSIGNED seat in a theatre to watch Pearl Harbor, curiosely enough, a message appeared on the screen. "Please pay homage to his majesty the king" and everyone in the theatre rose to their feet at once and sang some song that I will assume was a national anthem of sorts. Anyone ever have assigned seating at the movies? Wacky. And didn't Ben say something about an "Homage" during the first seen of the movie? Anyways, it was nice to see all the European men and their young prostitute boys stand for the National Anthem in the theatre. Pattaya is such a nice haven for the sex industry. I'm proud to have watched Pearl Harbor in such an outstanding place.
That and the projectionist really doesnt pay attention to cigarrette burns. Every 30 minutes we had a nice scene complete with beeps and a short pause on one frame. It really added to the movie. Lots. Did I mention the european elderly men and their teenage asian concubines?
No bootlegs of viewaskew in this country either. Go Asia go.
