Okay... a story ...One that has nothing to do with this but I guess somewhere there is a point if you dig down deep.

I had a real good friend of mine that helped me get through one of the toughest times in my life. He kept my spirits up when I was very depressed. He kept listening despite my obvious incoherent state at the time. I was given an opportunity to thank a bunch of people who had helped me in our little group. In all the excitement of the moment I forgot to thank him. It really got to me. Later on, I got the opportunity again with a larger group. About 200 people. this time I wrote a poem. I read the poem there and told him how much he had really been there as a friend, and that a lot of other women did not see that. He was very very good looking. At one point he had to turn down a proposition from a 12 year old girl. I felt pretty lucky to be his friend, but damn sorry I could have my way with him. The point....Is there a point?....ummm...hold on ...looking for thepoint.... Ahh...I found it. I guess the point is that when you get that rush of someone finally recognizing your talent or you as a person, you aren't really thinking clearly. Sometimes the people you don't thank, are the ones who you can look at in the eye and say thank you in a more personal manner that is private to them. Of course saying Thank you in front of millions is good too.
