: "Comic geeks talk to King of their small world's about Star Wars and what it was like to work with another, lesser known Geek King on website"

: If bad publicity for a movie exists, surely this would be it.

...Bad form, Chuz. A blurb about "Luke Skywalker," the Internet, and the movie is just the kind of fluff that goes into those little "items" in the mags, along with a url. No publicity is bad publicity.

But more to the point, from where springs this hipper-than-thou attitude? There is nothing sadder than the self-loathing nerd who HONESTLY believes his interests and loves to be pathetic.
The geeks who glom onto STAR WARS, and make it their absolute life, may be pathetic, but the subject material, and the talent involved, are anything but. Mark rocks, son.

I honestly don't think I'd ever be "star struck" in the presence of too many celebs, such as to where I'd be all nervous and giddy. I'm man enough to admit Hammil'd be one of 'em, though.

I **did** meet him, once. At a Dukakis rally, of all things (I was 15). I went only because I heard he'd be there. Pushed my way into the inner circle, brushed by Deborah Winger, and presented him with a STAR WARS card to sign, asking him to hurry, since I feared that I may soon get slide tackled by Secret Service agents.

Sad epilogue to the story- ended up accidentally WASHING the wallet the card was contained within.

C'mon!! This is LUKE SKYWALKER, fer chrissakes!!
