I watched it because I live in a fun little border town and live in the attic w/ rabbit ears on my boob tube. Got all the good Canadian stuff growing up like Degrassi, The Polka dot door, Royal Canadian Air Farce, Orignal Kids in the Hall, and recently South Park. Between CBC stations, PBS, and now that Mtv 2 are all free to me life ain't so bad w/ the rabbit ears.
