We just got back from A.I. and I'm still in shock. I was expecting this movie to kick all kinds of ass, but after about an hour and a half I was just writhing in my seat, waiting for it to end. And right when you think it's winding down to a semi-sucky ending, it plods on to a second opportunity to end on an even suckier note, then goes on and on and ONANDONANDON to a GOD HOW SUCKY ending. I'm too tired to think up a better adjective. I'd be pissed off if I'd actually had to pay to see it. Was anyone else disappointed by this movie, or am I missing something?
My faith in Askew is deep and abiding, tho. I'm taking him to see J&SBSB. This movie CANNOT suck, or I'll never hear the end of it. Guh.
