Here's what I said last board:
I really liked A.I. for a few reasons: 1) the effects had me hyperventilating into a paper bag, 2) Kubrick/Spielberg's vision of the future was so vivid, complete and inspired... you can't tell me that the originality wasn't awe-inspiring in itself, 3) Jude Law's hotness (hey, I'm only human) as well as his charisma, 4) That Haley Joel Osment kid can emote like a motherfucker, 5) It's Spielberg! I mean, SPIELBERG doesn't create shit! His worst movies (Lost World, Hook) have at the very least been artistically or technologically better than most flicks, the fact of which shouldn't be ignored just because it's Spielberg and it's what we've come to expect.
Yup, and I stand by that.
