But not about this post...well, maybe I can fake it.

: Ok here's my beef. I think every role in each VA flick is perfectly casted-- except the leads (with the exception of Affleck in Amy) Brian O'Halloran was a mediocre Dante, but it's not like at that particular point and time they had much control over casting... Jeremy London, I really didnt like in Mallrats, and thought it coulda been better casted...

Well, in Kevin Smith movies, there are actually TWO leads. In Clerks it was Randal and Dante, although Dante had the girl trouble, they both had their own conflicts and equal importance to the movie. Mallrats had Jeremy London, and Jason Lee, and Chasing Amy had Ben Affleck and Jason Lee. Dante is excusable, cause it was an independant flick, London sucked, but once again Smith didn't have as much control over casting as he wanted. They almost got stuck with J-Love Hewitt as Trish and Seth Green as Jay.

: But the one I *really* hated was Fiorentino in DOGMA. I find her to be a pretty horrible actress, particularly in this flick.

Dogma had 3 main characters. I mean, wouldn't you consider an antagonist a main character? Like Dr. Evil, or Goldfinger. And Fiorentino did a good job. She's not an Oscar-caliber actress, but she held her own considering she's not an architypal Smith character or actress.

She sucks at line delivery, which is pretty important in a diologue movie... The only flick I've seen her be even mediocre in was _What Planet Are You From?_. Anyways, thoughts?

Well, when you do a better Bethany, then you can knock her acting. Unless someone REALLY sucks (Carrot Top), I don't talk shit unless I know I can do a better job. Unfortunately, I have a dick (wait..that came out wrong), so I KNOW I couldn't do a better job as Bethany.

-Radio Host and the lead singer of a Flock of Seagulls right before they perform a song that made them a MEDIOCRE hit in the 80s...that's not right.
